According to an article in this month’s RealtorMag, 80% of renters are willing to give up certain things so that they can purchase a home.
What are renters willing to give up?
* 50% would cut back on dining out * 49% would cut back on shopping for non-essential items * 47% would give up luxuries such as trips to the salon and expensive cable packages * 39% would cut back on vacations * 10% would contribute less to their retirement plans
